This actor wanted a business card to get his headshot into the hands of prospective talent recruiters in the film industry. I used a picture on both sides so the viewer would have constant reference to his image while reading his acting information.
Secrets of Halo 2 Guidebook

This guide covered strategy guides to the video game Halo versions one and two, the history of the game and offered similar game ideas. This was distributed to Blockbusters nationwide in April 2005.
Royal Palms Resort Calendar
January 2006
This 2006 calendar was designed to entice visitors to visit the Royal Palms Resort in Phoenix, AZ, an intimate yet luxurious resort originally built in 1929. The calendar featured 15 photos of the resort with descriptive and enticing captions for each picture, history of the resort and a reference 2007 calendar.
Annual Report

Although primarily statistics in black and white, this annual report was designed with four four-color pages and a cover. The tagline on the cover "We Make IT Work" was printed as a dull varnish.
Atlantis Booklet

This 22-page booklet was created to get sponsors to an annual sales reward vacation. The top sales people are selected to go to the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.

This 8-page brochure was designed to showcase the natural beauty of Arizona wildlife. I used golden colors to match the images and black for a vivid contrast.
Company Video CD Case

This case was designed to house the company video on CD or DVD. It gave a brief description of the company and featured a die cut in which a tech image showed through.
Alvadora Spa Brochure
June 2006
This 16-page booklet provided a detailed description of extra amenities for the Royal Palm Resort Spa. This included massages, water and body therapies, skin treatments, hair and nail salon and fitness personal training. The booklet also included a pocket in which pricing inserts could be updated to accommodate rate changes.
HP Customer Briefing Invitation
November 2005
This corporate invitation for an HP event had a Beatles cover band "American Engligh" as entertainment, so the invitation was created to imitate the Beatles album "Abbey Road". The photo on the cover included the four musicians walking on the infamous Abbey Road, the apple record label and a brick wall on the back. Also, the invitation was square in shape to further imitate the shape of an album.

This invitation was created for an outdoor garden wedding. Made with Aspire Petallic paper, a vellum overlay and a die-cut envelope, the textures and shine and shape gave the recipient a unique tactile experience. The drawing was done with colored pencil and scanned.

This book published by Scholastic was designed for 10-14 year old boys to go along with the upcoming Transformer movie releasing in July 2007. In includes details about the Tranformer characters, the comic books, the toys and details about the movie.
Apple RAID Direct Mail

This was a direct mail for a B2B company selling Apple® RAID Servers. The monochromatic colors were chosen to correspond with the palette of the Apple brand.
Mobile Technology Direct Mailers

This series of direct mails were focused around mobile technology and security of mobile technology. The red film decoded garbled text for the viewer, demonstrating the ability to provide clarity for the mobile user while keeping the information coded and secure.
Why Color Scratch Off Direct Mail
June 2005
This direct mail showed the importance of color printing by ironically placing a black and white image on the cover and directing the viewer to choose the orange box. The inside panel showed the same image in color and had a scratch-off foil for the viewer to win a prize.

These direct mailers were created in a series for the advantages of IBM ThinkPad and ThinkCentre options with mobility and security.
HP Procurve Networking Direct Mail

This direct mail was targeted to businesses requiring networking infrastructure. I used a custom die-cut curve to emphasize the product name and the headline "Advance to the Edge..."

This unusually packaged direct mail was mailed in a plastic netting to emphasize the theme of the mailer. Purchasing a warranty for the recepient's printer would be a literal safety net.

This direct mail challenged the recipient to a word play riddle. The answer is inside, so it encourages readership.

This direct mail showed the inaccuracies of color between the monitor and printer. Using Adobe software, HP monitors and printers, this issue would not be a problem.

Purina Dogfood Ads

These two ads were designed as samples of my creative ability for an interview. The project was to create two mock ads for the product of "Come 'n Get It" dog food which had the unique feature of four flavors in one bag. Using parts of various images found on the web, I created a friendly dog slot machine winner and a silly "distinguished" dog eating his food in a crystal dish.
